Resilient Shore
Resilient Shore
Resilient Shore is a non-profit project in San Rafael whose mission is to help find the right way of dealing with the threat of rising tides and the danger of catastrophic flooding. We’re dedicated to working with local people and businesses, listening to their concerns, and together creating the best-of-all-worlds flood mitigation plan that benefits everybody. Our goal is to help pave our community’s opportunity to hold back the bay, while creating public spaces for recreation, and helping to reduce the cost of flood insurance.

With sanctuary windows that offer sweeping vistas of the Ross Valley, the church embraces the natural beauty of our surroundings and inspires those deeply committed to protecting the natural world. Concerned about climate change and motivated to take action, we formed an environmental “Green Team” in 2014.
